Miles serves as a Partner and Head of International Tax at Andersen LLP, advising privately held multinational companies, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals on complex cross-border tax issues. His expertise includes strategic use of holding company structures, intra-group financing, intellectual property exploitation, corporate reorganizations, and pre-disposal planning. He also guides on real estate transactions, domicile and residence nuances, remittance basis of taxation, and pre-immigration planning. Additionally, Miles manages offshore trusts, foundations, and hybrid entities, excels in double tax treaties, and handles tax investigations and voluntary disclosures, including amnesty regimes.

Dedicated to building enduring relationships, Miles offers tailored, commercially viable solutions. He has co-authored two books (1) International Tax Systems and Planning Techniques (Sweet & Maxwell) and (2) The Principles of International Tax Planning (Corpus) and numerous articles in the tax press, and frequently provides commentary on tax issues in the national media.

Before joining Andersen LLP, he was the Managing Partner of a specialist international tax practice founded in 2008. Miles also contributes as a Trustee for Regain, a charity aiding sports tetraplegics.
